Jack Dziak
Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy, Sprint Nextel Corporation
Dziak joins Sprint Nextel after serving as senior vice president, Services and Distribution, for Mobile Satellite Ventures LP (MSV), where he was responsible for building MSV's next-generation mobile broadband services portfolio and establishing strategic distribution channel agreements. In addition, Jack managed MSV's legacy satellite services revenue and sales operations.
Prior to MSV, he served as senior vice president, Corporate Strategy and Business Development, for MCI Communications (now Verizon Business). While there, Dziak built and led the corporate strategy team responsible for formulating MCI's post-bankruptcy strategic direction, and identifying and developing business opportunities, acquisitions, partnerships and technologies to support that strategy. In addition, he led the development and launch of initiatives in advanced IP communications, VoIP, managed enterprise services, mobility, and wireless broadband services.
Prior to MCI, Dziak spent over 15 years in strategy, technology and operations consulting in the global communications services and technology marketplace. He spent eight years as a Partner in Accenture's Communications and High Tech market unit. In addition, Dziak worked in Coopers & Lybrand's Information & Communications Strategy Practice, where he was engaged in many communications privatization and wireless service launches around the world.
Dziak holds a Master's of Business Administration in finance and economics from the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business, and a Bachelor's of Science in economics (Cum Laude Honors) from Virginia Tech. Dziak is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), earning his Charter in 1992.
