Reginald Henry

Chief Technology Officer, ASAE & The Center for Association Leadership

Reginald J. Henry is Chief Technology Officer, ASAE and the Center for Association Management.  His responsibilities include implementing "exemplary" systems at ASAE that can serve as a model to the rest of the association community and to "ratchet-up" the use and understanding of technology among ASAE's members.

 

Before joining ASAE, Mr. Henry served as a consultant to the Public Education Fund Network where his duties included providing technology and management consulting to the Network's members, planning and managing the Network's major educational events, and speaking around the country about public education. Prior to joining PEFNet, he was a manager in the Information Technology Group of Grant Thornton where he specialized in consulting to associations on the use of technology, marketing strategies, board-staff relationships, dues modeling, and staff structures.

 

He also co-founded and managed the management consulting firm Henry, Kinnelly and Associates and he served as an Assistant Executive Director at the American College Health Association.

 

Mr. Henry speaks regularly on technology, board development, and diversity issues.  He has addressed such groups as the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America, the Chamber of Commerce Institute, the ASAE School of Association Management, the Association of Girl Scout Executives, and the Greater Washington Society of CPAs.

 

Mr. Henry holds a B.S. in Economics and Computer Science from Georgetown University. He is a past President and Board Member of the Community Ministry of Montgomery County, Maryland. He is also a founding Board Member of Pathways to Healing, a support organization for adult survivors of child abuse.  He enjoys cooking, drawing, pottery, and a variety of sports activities.
