Jay Liverman

Mr. Liverman oversees investment governance and portfolio management for a project portfolio of $200MM; leads risk, audit, and compliance efforts; and manages a variety of other horizontal functions for the Information Technology and Enterprise Customer Management division

Mr. Liverman's expertise in Information Technology comes from more than 20 years in strategic technology roles. Before joining Capital One, he was the Business Information Officer for Strategic Partnerships at Freddie Mac, a stockholder-owned company that supports homeownership and rental housing by purchasing residential mortgages and mortgage-related securities. Also while at Freddie Mac, he led production operations for Loan Prospector, a mission critical application that processed over 65,000 loans daily for Freddie Mac's lender base. Prior to Freddie Mac, Mr. Liverman served in various leadership roles for both small and large businesses and founded Liverman & Associates, a software development and consulting firm based in Bethesda that served numerous entities in the private, public, and non-profit sector. 

Mr. Liverman is a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a degree in Finance. He lives in Falls Church, Virginia, and is blessed with a fantastic family, a yellow lab and a rabbit.  He enjoys traveling, keeping his 50-year old house in good shape, fly fishing, and attending his children's recitals and sports activities.
