Elio Trabal

Manager of IT Services for NPower ON!

Elio has over 7 years of experience in the world of Information Technology.  He has worked as a technical advisor for the Students with Disabilities department at Oberlin College, where he tailored technology to meet the needs of his clients.  He also worked in the College's Center for Information Technology and was responsible for the computing needs of at least 400 staff and students.  During these years at Oberlin, he developed expertise in the editing and production of documentary videos covering topics such as West African Music, Indian Music, and Dominican Music and Religion.

For the past two years, Elio has worked to improve the lives of low-income communities, initially by facilitating access to health services through the Health Program of CASA de Maryland.  In this organization, he also worked to improve the I.T. infrastructure that would allow the organization to grow throughout the state of Maryland

Elio earned a BA in Anthropology from Oberlin College, where he was introduced to the fascinating fields of music theory and composition, which he enjoys to this date.  As a social activity, Elio enjoys playing video games with friends and Latin dancing.  His most recent interest involves the study of environmental conservation.
