The world of technology can be very confusing. There are so many acronyms and so much jargon; it's easy to feel that you're in over your head. But you don't need to keep up with all the latest terminology to have a smart conversation about your organizations needs. This session will focus on the key elements of communicating your needs to vendors and consultants, and the simple questions you can ask to evaluate any technology proposal.

Takeaways:

  1. Which areas of technology you should worry about as ED;
  2. What you need to know about those critical areas;
  3. How to articulate your needs and decisions to staff, consultants and your board.

Julie Chapman, President, NPower Greater DC Region will moderate this panel on, You Don't Have to Know Everything, Just What to Ask.
