Senior Technology Consultant
NPower Greater DC Region is looking for a full time Senior Technology Consultant to serve our growing base of nonprofit clients.
Requirements & Experience
Requirements
-
Strong network and infrastructure support skills including NT, W2000, W2003
-
Excellent desktop management skills; desktops including NT, W2000, and WXP
-
Basic knowledge of firewall solutions, both software and hardware; Cisco certification a plus
-
Experience designing and implementing multi-domain networks, including design of AD structures
-
Strong troubleshooting abilities, including working with clients to diagnose and resolve problems
-
Strong support and administration skills for Exchange 2000, Exchange 2003; Design experience is a plus
-
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
-
Ability to manage customer expectations; must have a strong focus on customer satisfaction
-
Basic project management skills are compulsory; large project management a plus
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills; writing sample will be requested
-
Ability to travel to greater DC area, including VA, and MD as needed and work onsite with clients; Must have reliable transportation

Occasionally evening and/or weekend work may be required

Basic understanding of the non-profit sector a plus
Experience
-
5-7 years in the technology field with deep hands on experience
-
5-7 years in supporting technology infrastructure
-
Experience in the non-profit sector a plus but not required
-
5-7 years supporting Microsoft platforms; NT, w2000, w2003
-
5+ years supporting MSFT desktop OS including 9x,NT,2000,XP
-
Experience in a multi-client environment is preferred
-
Current MCSE Certifications are strongly preferred
