NPower Technology Innovation Award - Application Workshop

If your organization is interested in applying for the 2nd annual Technology Innovation Award, sponsored by Accenture, but would like more information or some helpful tips on how to do so, come join us for a breakfast workshop on Tuesday, August 8th from 9:30am – 11am. This short workshop, held at the Center for Nonprofit Advancment, is free of charge and will include a brief presentation on past applicants and winners. NPower staff will answer any questions.

The Award provides the winning nonprofit $10,000 in technology consulting services provided by NPower and free Microsoft software valued at $25,000. In addition, the two other finalists will each receive $5,000 in NPower services and $10,000 in Microsoft software.

2006 Catalogue for Philanthropy Selects NPower!

Catalogue 4 PhilanthropyNPower Greater DC Region has been selected as a featured charity in the 2006-07 Catalogue for Philanthropy which will be issued in mid-November. Supported by local foundations (Harman, Meyer, Cafritz, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Marriott and Fowler) as a service to the community, the Catalogue profiles environmental, cultural, educational, human services, and international organizations. Over 30,000 individuals and hundreds of foundations will receive copies of the Catalogue this year. To date, the Catalogue has helped to raise over $2 million in pledges and gifts for local nonprofits.
