  • The NTEN DC Regional Conference, co-sponsored by NPower, will be held on October 11, in downtown DC at the Marriott Metro Center from 8am - 5pm. The title of the conference is "Pulling it all Together: Data Integration's Impact on Raising Money and Fulfilling your Mission". This year's conference will focus on data integration, one of the most crucial issues facing nonprofits today. Important data management issues will be outlined, as well as the steps to success, no matter what role you play in your organization.

The conference is also an opportunity for anyone with an interest in helping nonprofits to use technology more effectively to meet colleagues, collaborators, and clients; learn from each other and from leaders in the field; and share information and resources.

    Today's Tech Tip
    Prevent Data Loss
Because of recent events we are taking time out to strongly encourage you to review your agency's data backup procedures and to ensure that the process is being conducted correctly and regularly. In our experience in the field we have observed that several nonprofits have a lack of focus, inadequate equipment and are ill-prepared when it comes to data backup when an emergency hits. Please see information on data back-up prepared by our affiliate organization NPower NY.
