Hardware and Software
NPower GDCR will work with you to get the right hardware and software in place so you will have an up-to-date, stable and reliable computer network. We will specify most appropriate servers, workstations and laptops based on your organization’s needs. We have negotiated discounts with vendors and assist you in placing your order. All savings are passed on to you. We recommend appropriate software solution and assist in placing orders through Tech Soup where available. In addition, NPower clients are eligible for grants of software from Microsoft.
Networks & Workstations
NPower GDCR’s tech staff helps nonprofits install and upgrade workstations, networks, laptops, printers, wireless devices, PDAs, backup solutions and emergency power supplies. Networks can be as simple as connecting two or three workstations, and as complicated as making sure that remote offices and multiple users can share files and calendars for hundreds of users.
If you need assistance setting up your first network or managing an existing one, or guidance figuring out what to purchase, NPower can help. And when we've completed a project for you, we'll make sure you have documentation and recommendations so you get the most out of your investment!
Remote Access
If you need secure and safe access to your desktop or network, NPower GDCR can help. We'll work with you to create a solution that is affordable and reliable, so you can work efficiently from any internet connection. Options include:

- Terminal Services
- VPN (Virtual Private Networking) for both Windows and Macintosh
