The days of one-way, online marketing via your website are long gone. The participatory nature of today's Web 2.0 environment calls for nonprofits to engage in and incite online conversations with people who might support - or detract from - your message. Blogging is one of the most effective (and affordable) ways to start new conversations and participate in existing conversations, but is it for you? During this presentation, we will explore the benefits and best practices of blogging, provide tips on setting up and promoting a blog, and share examples of who is doing it right. We will also look at a few additional ways you can capitalize on "social media," which extends far beyond blogging. Finally, we will take time to address your questions and concerns about the "blogoshere."
